Autodesk Simulation CFD

Autodesk® Simulation CFD software (formerly known as CFdesign®) provides a comprehensive, flexible set of tools for fluid flow simulation and thermal simulation. Autodesk Simulation CFD offers fast, accurate, and innovative analysis capabilities upfront in product development, where decision-making is critical.

The Design Study Environment provides performance insight over a range of designs, allowing for greater product innovation and better product performance. Simulation CFD extends Digital Prototyping to electronics cooling, mechanical, AEC, industrial, and consumer product applications.

  • One-Click Simulation – Autodesk Simulation CFD tools simplify and expand simulation to every engineer on the team. You can set up automation to allow for just one-click to begin exploring flow and thermal design options.
  • Design Study Automation – With several new enhancements like design study templates, engineers can now avoid the "déjà vu" experience of repeating the same process over and over when setting up a design study from within Autodesk® Inventor® 3D CAD software, as well as Pro/ENGINEER®, and SolidWorks® software.
  • Remote Solving – Autodesk Simulation CFD is built to take advantage of the existing hardware on your network. A new solver manager helps you set up and allocate the workload across multiple systems.
  • Team Environment – New workflow and collaboration utilities help you involve more of the team on every project.
  • Decision Center – Filtering and sorting through the mountains of data and presenting them in a simple way are the heart of the Design Study Environment
